Not covered by insurance? You may still have options
Medical cannabis is recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) as an eligible medical expense. If you’re paying out of pocket and not receiving reimbursement from your insurer, you may be able to claim those costs on your income tax return*.
Simply download your receipts from the patient portal and share them with your accountant or include them when filing your taxes.
